On-screen marking

Evaluate on screen. No scripts in transit, no name on the paper.

Scan every booklet once, then let examiners mark from anywhere. The barcode hides the candidate, valuations reconcile on their own, and every action is on the record.

barcode-masked · multi-valuation · full audit trail

How it runs

From inward to a reconciled mark.

OSM starts the moment booklets arrive. Every script is tracked by barcode from the inward desk to the final upload.

  1. 01

    Import & inward

Student and exam data loaded; the inward team records the received count for each subject.

  2. 02

    Barcode & bundle

Booklets are scanned into bundles, each with a unique ID. Absentees and UFM cases are flagged by barcode.

  3. 03

    Scan & upload

Each booklet is scanned and uploaded with a name-match check. A bundle locks only when every booklet is in.

  4. 04

    Evaluate on screen

Examiners mark on screen behind a masked barcode, with running totals tallied for them.

  5. 05

    Reconcile

Second and third valuations that differ beyond tolerance are reconciled before anything is published.

  6. 06

    Export

Marks and a subject-wise status report export to CSV or Excel, or straight into the ERP.

What it gives you

Faster marking, and the integrity built in.

Identity stays masked

The barcode hides the candidate. An examiner only ever sees answers, never who wrote them.

Single, double, third valuation

Route a script to one examiner or several. Valuations that disagree beyond tolerance go to reconciliation on their own.

Mark on screen

Tick, cross, comment and award marks question by question. Totals are added up for you, not by hand.

Live pendency

Track evaluator progress and turnaround in real time, per subject and per centre.

Full audit trail

Who evaluated what, when, and what changed — logged and exportable for the record.

Nothing in transit

Once scanned, booklets never move again. No lost bundles, no travel, no storage risk.

For the exam cell

A status report you can stand behind.

Admins get a subject-wise report with barcode-level drill-down — every booklet's state at a glance, exportable for your own records.

RC received AB absent NU not uploaded OH on hold UC uploaded DC discard UFM malpractice

Bundle lifecycle: received (RC) → in bundle (NU) → assigned → scanned/uploaded → complete & locked.
